Mining Experience

Mining Experience

A full-day tour for hiking enthusiasts

The shuttle bus takes us to the Poschhaus. From here, we first hike for two hours along old miners’ trails and transport routes up to the Schneeberg Pass, and from there to the miners’ settlement on the Schneeberg.
After visiting the village we descend via Seemoos to the Karl gallery. The exciting return route involves 6 kilometres underground (3 on foot and 3 in the mine train), past large excavations, shafts, watercourses, narrow passages and sloping tunnels.
